Founded in 1949, the Kiwanis Foundation of Indianapolis serves our community through two major avenues: hands-on service projects and charitable giving. Through the generosity of our members both past and present, our Foundation is able to give over $250,000 for scholarships, grants and programs, each year, that directly benefit the youth of central Indiana.

Funding for the Foundation comes from tax-deductible gifts, memorials, gifts honoring celebrations or special events, bequests in wills, special fundraising drives, and annual contributions by club members.

Currently, the market value of the Foundation's portfolio is nearing $7 million. Goelzer Investment Management professionally manages the Foundation's portfolio and the Foundation's board of directors meets every other month to review and approve funding requests.
