Career, Civic & Kiwanian of the Year Awards
in recognition of outstanding and exemplary achievement by members of this club in their chosen careers and in civic endeavors
Career Award:
- Exceptional contributions above and beyond responsibilities of their business or profession.
- Demonstrated willingness to devote time and energy to the advancement of their field of endeavor and community.
- Meritorious service beyond the expected time and business requirements in their occupation.
Civic Award:
- Demonstrated standing as a Kiwanian through committee work, attendance at meetings and cooperation in club activities.
- Participation above and beyond the usual service projects, including work with charitable groups, politics, church work, school activities, etc.
- Selected by the President
- Member who has distinguished themselves by exceptionally commendable participation in club activities
- Although our club is build on participation by all our members, some members stand above the crowd as a result of their exceptional contributions to our club
Eligibility:
All active, senior, and honorary members of the club are eligible. A member may receive both the Career Award or the Civic Award, but not in the same year. Nominations will carry over from year to year, and new nominees will be considered. Past Presidents may opt not to select a recipient, if they determine there is no worthy candidate presented.
