Marion County High School Football End of Season Celebration

Each Marion County school may nominate one senior player to be considered for the Academic MVP. Top football student-athlete (measured by grade point average, class rank, and community/school activities). Each nominee will be recognized during the program, and one player will be chosen to receive the $2,500 scholarship funded by the Kiwanis Foundation of Indianapolis

Each Marion County school may nominate one senior player to be considered for the G.R.E.A.T. Award, designed to honor someone who typically is not recognized for his contributions. These qualities make him a “GREAT” player no matter what his statistics are:
Giving: Gives of himself in a way that is extraordinary
Respect: Respects himself and is accepting of others that may be different
Example - Has qualities the coach can point to as an example to follow
Attitude: Positive, always
Team: Is a true team player, not a player who is out for himself.
